Child Safety Standards

Last updated: 11 July 2026

Our commitment

Vibe has zero tolerance for child sexual abuse and exploitation (CSAE), including child sexual abuse material (CSAM). Vibe is a live video and voice chat service intended exclusively for adults aged 18 and over. The creation, upload, sharing, solicitation, or facilitation of any content or conduct that sexually exploits or endangers minors is strictly prohibited and will result in immediate removal, account termination, and reporting to the appropriate authorities.

These standards describe the measures we take to prevent, detect, and respond to CSAE across the Vibe platform, in line with Google Play's Child Safety Standards policy and applicable law.

Adults only — no minors permitted

  • Vibe is rated for and available to users who are 18 years of age or older. Accounts believed to belong to minors are removed.
  • Users must confirm they are adults when creating an account, and our Terms of Service prohibit anyone under 18 from using the service.
  • If we become aware that a user is a minor, we terminate the account and delete associated data.

Prohibited conduct

The following are strictly forbidden on Vibe:

  • Any child sexual abuse material (CSAM) or content that sexualises minors, whether real, animated, or computer-generated.
  • Grooming, solicitation, or any attempt to engage a minor in sexual activity.
  • Sharing, requesting, or advertising links to CSAE content on or off the platform.
  • Any other content or behaviour that endangers or exploits children.

How we prevent and detect CSAE

  • Community guidelines & Terms: Our published Terms of Service and community guidelines expressly prohibit CSAE and set out consequences for violations.
  • Moderation: We operate content moderation and review reported activity. Accounts that violate these standards are suspended or permanently banned.
  • In-app reporting & blocking: Every user can report and block other users directly within the app. Reports of suspected CSAE are prioritised.
  • Account enforcement: We remove violating content, terminate offending accounts, and preserve relevant records as required by law.

Reporting and response

  • Users can report suspected CSAE in the app using the report function, or by emailing our safety contact below.
  • We review CSAE reports promptly and take action, including content removal and account termination.
  • We report apparent child sexual abuse material to the relevant authorities, including the National Center for Missing & Exploited Children (NCMEC) and/or local law enforcement, as required by applicable law.
